It’s a familiar story: a baby born on Christmas Day with no crib for a bed.  When triplets Claire, Averee and Eoin were born two months early on Christmas Day their grandmother emailed The Salvation Army for help.  Multiplying everything needed for a newborn by three was a big financial stress for her daughter Courtney and Justin, a dairy farmer from central PA.  The Salvation Army, partnering with the Sheetz Family Foundation, was able to say “yes” we can help and three cribs were delivered to the family.  “I just want everyone to know how thankful we are that The Salvation Army would do this for us,” said Courtney.  “The cribs were such an awesome gift.”  The regional Manager was grateful and happy that things worked out the way they did.  “Providing three new cribs and mattresses is not a typical type of assistance we are able to offer, but neither was the circumstance.  The timing, the generosity of the Sheetz Family Foundation and The Salvation Army were all aligned, and I am so glad we were able to help.”
