Meet Diane Outlaw! She has been with The Salvation Army Developmental Disabilities Program for about 8 years. She loves to paint and anything to do with art. She would rather stay in and paint then to do anything else! She has become quite the artist!

Meet Ernestine Robins! She has been with The Salvation Army Developmental Disabilities Program for over 12 years. Our art program was started due to Ernestine’s interest in drawing. Because of her we sought out an art teacher and the program has grown by leaps and bounds. And so has Ernestine’s talent. When she puts her mind to it she can create breathtaking pieces!

Meet Hilda Ferebee! She has been with The Salvation Army Developmental Disabilities Program for over 8 years. Hilda loves to draw and paint. She will often bring in her sketches to show off to her friends that she worked on over the weekend. Hilda also loves music and sharing new experiences with friends.

Meet Holli Wood! She has been with The Salvation Army Developmental Disabilities Program for over 10 years. She loves music, art, swinging, and staying busy. You will never catch Holli without her lipstick and nail polish. She recently decided she had enough nail polish to “paint a barn!” She has been an active artist in The Salvation Army art classes. Her favorite things to paint are butterflies and bats!

Meet Keith Beauchamp! He has been with The Salvation Army Developmental Disabilities Program for about 7 years. He is new to the art program but loves every class he can take! Besides art he loves playing basketball and talking to his friends about the latest sports event. As Keith would say “Go Cowboys!”

Meet Kim Smith! She has been with The Salvation Army Developmental Disabilities Program for over 10 years. She enjoys spending her free time practicing for Special Olympic events. She is also an avid artist and looks forward to the days she is able to learn a new art technique. She loves to create and share her artwork!

Meet Marvin Walston! He has been with The Salvation Army Developmental Disabilities Program for about 14 years. He is new to the art program but loves every class he can take! He only comes to class on Friday but will often bring in projects he has worked on throughout the week. He loves to see someone get excited about something he has created!

Meet Renay Strunk! She is a new addition to The Salvation Army, DDP Art Program. Her favorite thing to do is to paint. She will come into The Salvation Army and say “Are we going to get messy today?” Renay is open to any medium she is taught and loves to try new things. When Renay is not painting she loves to watch movies or go out to eat.

Meet Sami Roach! She has been with The Salvation Army Developmental Disabilities Program for over 6 years. She loves to color or paint any free moment she has. Sami spends Friday’s volunteering to help those less fortunate and works at TGI Friday’s on the weekend. She has a contagious smile that will light up the room!

Meet Sarah Bosco! She has been with The Salvation Army Developmental Disabilities Program for over 7 years. Art has become her passion. Sarah would rather be painting than doing anything else! If Sarah is painting with a non-fat latte from McDonald’s next to her she is in heaven!

Meet Todd Meyer! He has been with The Salvation Army Developmental Disabilities Program for about 12 years. He is a very busy guy. He works 2 days a week, volunteers 2 days a week and he paints 1 day a week. In the short time he has to be creative he has been able to produce some winning pieces. His first painting was turned into a card!
